How
can I set up a shorter hammock in a larger space? |

you already have a have a single hammock and want to put it in
a horizontal space of more than 2.5 or 3 m, you only need some
extensions. (Please note that all
of the Double Hammocks are considerably
longer than the single hammocks, they more easily fit into longer
spaces without extensions.) |

The
spring extension (below, right) is good as both an extension
and as a comfort enhancer. The strong spring cushions the swing
of your hammock and increases the "floating" feeling (no longer for sale).
In the absence of a spring extension, you can
use any strong chord or rope (right). In this picture
we have simply folded the rope in two, put the folded end on the
hammock hook, and used the Easy Loop
at the hammock end. Notice the easy loop is a little firmer and
easier to undo when the rope is doubled.
